Creating pricing for a product

To set the price of a product:

  1. Log in to your MyCustomizer dashboard and go to your Product page.

  2. Under the Online stores section, click on the START SELLING button next to the online store for which you want to set the price.

  3. Click on CREATE PRICING.

The currency is determined by your online store. You need to set prices for each of your online stores.

Editing the pricing of a product

To set your the price of a product:

  1. Log in to your MyCustomizer dashboard and go to your Product page.

  2. Under the Online stores section, click on EDIT PRICING.

  3. Hover over the price you want to edit and click on the edit icon.

  4. Hit PUBLISH when your are done.

Setting the base price

The base price is the most fundamental cost of your product that does not include extra fees. Under base price, enter the price and hit SAVE.

Adding extra prices

MyCustomizer allows you to set extra prices for any option of your product.

To do so:

1. Click on ADD EXTRA PRICE;

2. Select the customization option;

3. Select the corresponding choice;

4. Enter your extra price.

E.g. You could add $10 if the client selects a White Pearl body material like this:

Hint: Prices will only be visible in your customizer when it is embedded in your online store.

Displaying tax inclusive prices

To display tax inclusive prices on your customizer, activate the Display taxes setting and set the tax rate.

Viewing your prices in Shopify

To see prices in your customizer, you need to view it from Shopify.

  1. Create a starting point.

  2. Add your starting point to your online store.

  3. Click on the more icon and click on View in Shopify.

  4. Once you are in your Shopify product page, click on Preview and you will see your customizer with the prices you have added.

WARNING: Do not edit variants in Shopify

It is important not to edit or rename the variants and prices in Shopify because they are managed by MyCustomizer. Modifying them in Shopify will not modify them in MyCustomizer and could break the connection between MyCustomizer and your cart.


Setting a base price in Shopify if your MyCustomizer product base price is 0

The only case where you should modify variants in Shopify is if you need to set a base price for your product in Shopify because your base price in MyCustomizer is 0. In that case, you can edit the 'Default Title' variant price. It is important not to edit other variants and prices than the 'Default Title.'
